CABRA PARK LANE - APRIL 2016

Dublin Canvas is a new innovative community based art project which offers a range of benefits and opportunities for enhancing the urban environment, increasing the use and enjoyment of public space and building social cohesion through art. The aim of Dublin Canvas is to add colour to the city making Dublin a more beautiful place to live, work and visit.

This stage of the project will be using traffic light control boxes. These boxes, previously designed to go unnoticed will now become canvases for artwork. Dublin Canvas is currently seeking participants for the project which will now consist of a further 60 traffic light control boxes located within the Dublin South East area and Dublin North Central Area.

APRIL 2016 VISIT

I first ordered a Zeiss Batis 25mm almost a year ago and eventually I got one today and now I have no money left in my bank account.

The weather today was not at all good so I was not in the humour to travel far and ended up just walking around the Broadstone area. I decided to visit Cabra Park Lane to check if there was any new street art to be seen and unfortunately there was nothing new. However, with the exception of a mattress all of the rubbish that made the lane very unpleasant to visit has been removed. I just hope that the mattress does not act as a magnet for more illegal dumping.
