I must admit that this caught me by surprise as I was unaware on what was happening next to the new Central Bank Headquarters in the Docklands.
The development is described as follows:
“Destined to be a vibrant, richly urban part of the city, Dublin Landings is designed to epitomise the city’s new attitude: confident and ambitious, but always welcoming. Well-connected by transport, and located between Dublin’s international airport and historic centre, it is the ideal gateway to the city but also a destination in its own right: thoughtful, sensitive architecture will open up to the River Liffey, drawing on the docklands’ rich heritage, while tree-lined avenues and squares offer a place to sit and enjoy a summer’s day.”
