Today I noticed that a number of publications have used my photographs of this Kiosk in Ballsbridge but they failed to provide a link or the name of the copyright owner [Flickr is not the copyright owner].
In March 2015 I published the following:
“Last month a well-known newspaper and coffee kiosk in Ballsbridge was offered for sale as an investment for €200,000 by agents CBRE.
At that price, a purchaser can expect to earn a return of 7.5 per cent. The kiosk at the junction of Lansdowne Road, Pembroke Road and Northumberland Road is let to Silverskin Coffee Roasters at a rent of €15,600. The short-term lease expires in January 2017.”Today the Irish Time mentioned
that “Brothers Colum and Ciarán Butler, who run the Starbucks operation in Ireland, are the new owners of the hexagon-shaped kiosk that has traded for decades at the junction of Lansdowne, Pembroke and Northumberland roads”.
