CHILDREN OF 1916 MEMORIAL

It is a little known fact [or at least it was until recently] that forty children during the 1916 Easter rising in Dublin. In Dublin city center - between the North Circular and South Circular roads - from Heuston station to the Custom house, 500 people lost their lives in six days and the majority were civilians.
