PHOTOGRAPHED USING iPHONE 12 PRO MAX
The last time I photographed here a person claiming to be a hotel staff member objected to me photographing but they were unable to produce any evidence to support their claim … they said that they would get a manager to speak with me, I am still waiting.
Andrews Lane Theatre, acquired for €4.4 million, was located on this lane and had been demolished and replaced by a 9 storey compact hotel. Originally it was to be the Andrew’s Lane Hotel but it now appears that it will operate as the Wren Open Nest or the Wren Urban Nest
A quote from the past: “ALT by name, alternative by nature, Andrews Lane Theatre has quickly become a favoured hangout for Dublin’s coolest kids.”
Official description: “Wren Urban Nest is a stunning building with 137 rooms tucked into a surprisingly quiet corner of Dublin 2, Wren is the perfect place to rest in the city, and the most sustainable – as Ireland’s first net carbon place to stay. Positioned between Trinity college, Grafton Street and Temple bar, the best that Dublin has to offer is on our doorstep, from cafés to restaurants, theatres and museums to pubs and clubs to mention a few. And it’s all only a short hop away from the sanctuary of your cosy urban nest.”
