Eileen MacDonagh, born in Geevagh, County Sligo in 1956, has been working as a sculptor since the 1980s. She is known for her large-scale sculptures, mainly made from stone.
Eileen MacDonagh’s work has been featured in many exhibitions, both in Ireland and abroad, including shows in Portugal, Scotland, India, and Japan. She has contributed a unique body of work to the Arts in Ireland, for which she was elected in 2004 to Aosdána, an Irish organisation that recognises artists.
