THIS TRAM STOP IS A GATEWAY TO THE DOCKLANDS
I worked with a woman from London and she wanted to name her daughter after George her father but she also wanted to give the child an Irish name and then she noticed that "George's Dock" was "Duga Sheoirse" in Irish. So here daughter was named Sheoirse even though the name is usually spelled "Saoirse". Note: In the UK the name George is a girl's name meaning "farmer". For girls, typically used as a nickname for names such as Georgia and Georgiana.
