ABOUT THE ARTIST

There may be some confusion this is "Luas Kiss" and according to Dublin Canvas it is located on Mary's Lane but I photographed this at Chancery Place. Some online accounts claim that she has a second box "Luas Love" at Chancery Place. I suspect that there is only one box.

Amy Caulfield is a talented designer from Monaghan who is passionate about identity design, UI/UX, and design for good. She studied at the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT) and during her time there, her branding work was chosen by Cherrywood National School for their identity.

Amy has a unique style of visualising unusual stories to bring a humorous perspective to everyday happenings. This is evident in her artwork titled ‘Luas Kiss’, where she imagines a world where the trams themselves have their own lives, interactions, and even romances. This piece is located at Chancery Place, Dublin 1.

Amy’s love for the Luas, a light rail system in Dublin, is a recurring theme in her work.

Amy’s work is not only appreciated by the academic community but also by the public. Her work brings joy and a touch of magic to the daily commute of Luas users in Dublin.
