St Mary's Pre-School was located here when it was a colourful building having been painted in bright colours by Dulux. It is a pity that it is now painted white.
Back in 2012 St Marys creche was transformed by the Dulux team for the Let's Colour project. Located in Dublin city centre, it has already become an iconic building in the city and the children were delighted with the colourful transformation made to their pre-school.
The St Mary’s Early Years Education and Care Service on City Quay was one of just two crèches in the community but unfortunately, because of the condition of the building, it was announced in 2017 that it had to close leaving 50 families looking for alternative childcare.
