ABOUT THE ROYAL VISIT
When I booked my hotel foe a week in June 2014 I did nor realise that Queen was organising to visit Belfast at the same time and that caused me a lot of problems as access to many parts of the city. I had one incident where some police officers, in a RIB came over to me on the bank of the Lagan can checked my camera.
Queen Elizabeth II visited Belfast with her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, between June 23rd and June 25th, 2014.
During her visit, she attended various engagements including:
A visit to the Crumlin Road Gaol Visitor Attraction and Conference Centre
A visit to Hurst-MacQuitty Stages in the Titanic Quarter
A lunch at Belfast City Hall
A Garden Party at Hillsborough Castle
A Royal British Legion Reception at Coleraine Town Hall
