This has survived on North King Street since 2020 but Pawel has also more recently painted a utility cabinet at the DublinBikes docking station on Bolton street.
Pawel Jasinski, artist and designer, was born in Poland and works in Dublin. He has exhibited his paintings in several European countries including Poland, Ireland, Latvia and England. One of his works - portrait of Paul Brady, has been printed at the side of The Icon Factory Gallery in Temple Bar, Dublin.
In December 2017, The Hunt Museum in Limerick recognized his painting "Woman at Temple Bar" as the picture of the month. Pawel also exhibited his works in the legendary place of Polish culture - Piwnica pod Baranami in Krakow.
Today I used an old Sony VG10E camcorder for stills photography and I like using this camera but am not happy about the fact that it only produces JPG files. Back when I got my NEX-5 camera in May 2010 I discovered that there was a waiting list for Sony E 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS. When the VG10E was launched in September 2010 phoned me and told me that he had obtained a demo copy of the VG10E and that I could have the body with lens for Euro 300 more than the retail price of the lens and of course I said yes to the offer,
The Sony VG10E (also known as the NEX-VG10E) was a pioneering camera released in 2010, notable for being one of the first interchangeable lens camcorders with a large APS-C sensor. This allowed for significantly improved image quality and low-light performance compared to traditional camcorders at the time.
A major point in its favour was indeed the kit lens it came with - the Sony E 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS. This lens offered a very versatile zoom range, covering everything from wide-angle landscapes to telephoto close-ups. It also included optical image stabilisation, which is crucial for handheld video shooting.
