Midleton Town Council have installed [or are planning to install] a set of five statues at strategic positions around the town.
The installation shown in my photographs is a bronze structure located at the Gooses Acre. The structure costing €60,000 was designed to reflect the traditional use of the area by local people for grazing their geese.
My time in Midleton was limited to an hour so i did not have time to seek out and photograph all five examples of public art. I hope to visit again at a later date.
