TALKING HEADS BY CAROLYN MULHOLLAND [LOCATED ON ABBEY STREET]

It took me a long time to find any information relating to these three heads located on Lower Abbey Street. About six years ago I discovered that the art installation is known as “Talking Heads” and the artist is Carolyn Mulholland. On the wall beside the Talking Heads is a plaque which states that the unveiling of the national flag took place in the music hall at this location on Lower Abbey street on 15th April 1858.

In my opinion this public art installation is not in a suitable location and I am fairly certain that the majority of people walk by without seeing it. Today a passerby asked me what I was photographed and then admitted that she had been unaware of the sculptures or the plaque even though she uses the nearby bus stop almost every day.

here is a review of the camera that I used today https://www.cameralabs.com/sigma_dp1_quattro/
