INTERNATIONAL SCULPTURE DAY [TODAY I USED A SIGMA 105mm ART LENS]

Sculpture Dublin invites you to explore Dublin’s sculptural landscape, from the historical remnants of empire, to assertions of a modern national identity, to the abstract, the contemporary, the naughty nicknames and beyond!

In December 2019 I spent most of my savings on a collection of lenses that I had hoped to use in 2020 when visiting the towns and cities of Ireland.

The programme was due to begin in March 2020 but I had to cancel all my planned trips.

Even now in 2021 I am still cancelling visits to Belfast, Kilkenny and Cork. So, I have not had the opportunity to use many of my new lenses and this is especially true in the case of the Sigma 105mm Art Lens.

Today, I took the opportunity to try the Sigma 105mm F1.4 DG HSM Art lens and to be honest I have decided that as it is so large and heavy it is not practical for me to bring it with me when I travel around the country.
