I photographed these boats back in 2017 but I had a major sensor dust problem and lens flare issues and until now I had believed that the images were unusable.

HMS Blazer P279 is an Archer-class P2000 Fast Patrol Boat, built by Watercraft Marine in 1985 – one of
five based in HMNB Portsmouth. HMS Blazer has a compliment (minimum) crew of five: one Lt, two CPOs, one LH and one AB. However, she can carry a maximum of 20 personnel on board She deploys twice a year, usually at around Easter and again in the summer.

HMS Ranger P293 is an Archer-class patrol and training vessel of the British Royal Navy, based in HMNB Portsmouth. She is affiliated to Sussex and Brighton Universities' University Royal Naval Unit (or SUSURNU), which has its offices at the University of Sussex, Brighton.
