Booterstown Train Station is a suburban DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) station located in Booterstown, County Dublin, Ireland. Opened in 1835, it features two platforms connected by a footbridge and has a car park. The station is situated on a causeway across what was originally part of Dublin Bay.
Immediately adjacent to the station is the Booterstown Marsh Nature Reserve. This vital wetland is the only remaining saltmarsh on the south shore of Dublin Bay and serves as a significant bird sanctuary. It is an internationally important feeding and roosting area for ducks, geese, and waders, including migratory species such as Brent Geese. The marsh is managed by An Taisce and provides a crucial habitat for a diverse range of birdlife and protected plant species within an urban setting.
