MAYNOOTH GRAVEYARD

THE STORY THE PHOTOGRAPHS

When I visited the graveyard at St Patrick's College, 9 May 2025, in Maynooth an elderly gentleman that I met there told me that there was a very strong possibility that Bishop Casey could be interred here if he was removed from the crypt in Galway Cathedral. I thought that this would be most unlikely but I decided to investigate the possibility.

MAYNOOTH STATION

ABOUT THE STATION THE PHOTOGRAPHS

Maynooth Train Station

The station itself is a busy stop on Iarnród Éireann's network. It serves as a major commuter station on the Western Suburban line, connecting Maynooth directly with Dublin city centre (including Pearse, Tara St, and Connolly stations). It is also the final electrified station on the line and a stop on the InterCity route from Dublin to Sligo.
