The presence of street art on construction hoardings around Marina Park is a direct and deliberate feature of large-scale urban redevelopment. This practice serves a dual purpose. Functionally, it is a visual mitigation strategy, transforming unsightly but necessary barriers into temporary public canvases that shield the public from the disruption of construction. Culturally, it provides a platform for ephemeral art that can engage the community, reflect the creative energy of the city, and animate the streetscape during a period of transition. This art is, by its very nature, transient; its existence is tied to the construction timeline, and it is destined to disappear as the developments it conceals are completed.
