Back in 2013 the children enjoyed a few days off in order to celebrate the St Patrick's Festival,

The building located at 7-8 City Quay, Dublin 2, was once home to St. Mary's Creche and Pre-School. In 2012, it underwent a transformation as part of Dulux's "Let's Colour Project." The building was painted in a vibrant, multi-colored jigsaw puzzle design, making it a visually striking and recognisable landmark in the city.

In 2017, St. Mary's Early Years Education and Care Service, which operated the creche, closed temporarily due to the need for remedial works within the building. After the renovations were completed, the building reopened as Citytest, a medical testing centre. The colourful jigsaw puzzle design remained for a few years after Citytest took over the building, but it has since been painted over with a plain white exterior.
