SCULPTURE BY LUCY GLENDINNING
Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.
When I visit Belfast I usually stay at the Ramada by Wyndham hotel and there is an exit from the hotel that leads to Saint Anne's Square and usually I visit the Zen restaurant which is located behind this sculpture. When I first saw the sculpture it reminded me of the Titanica a sculpture by Rowan Gillespie.

CUBITAG TRACKER
BlueTooth Key Tracker
I started using these trackers by CubiTag a few weeks ago to track my cameras and they have proved to be effective
I NOW USE THESE TRACKERS
Bluetooth beacons are hardware transmitters - a class of Bluetooth low energy (LE) devices that broadcast their identifier to nearby portable electronic devices. The technology enables smartphones, tablets and other devices to perform actions when in close proximity to a beacon. One user of Beacons is as a "Key finder" where a beacon is attached to (for example) a keyring and an app can use to track the last time the app (or the app of other uses of the system) came in range of it. The two main vendors are "Trackr" and "Tile" with Google soon to enter the market.
As I have a need to keep track of my cameras and other associated equipment I have spent about a year investigating the possibility of buying into the Tile system but by accident I ended up purchasing a Cubitag and as I was fairly pleased with its performance I purchased about five more which I will test out over the next few months. My sister's birthday was on the 14th November and as she is constantly losing here house and car keys I had Amazon deliver a number of Tile tags to her home in Florida. She was somwhat confused by her present but she has agreed to test them over the next few months and report back to me.
After testing my Cubitags arrived I decided to purchase an Amazon Echo Studio and an Apple HomePod in order to see what might be possible using Bluetooth technology. It is now the 14th of November 2019 and I do not expect the Amazon or Apple speakers to arrive until next Monday or Tuesday. I had to buy the Apple HomePod from ComputerUniverse in Germany as apple do not currently the product in Ireland [it is available in Northern ireland].
