I DID NOT EXPECT THE BOTANIC GARDENS TO BE OPEN [27 MAY 2020]

After I returned home I checked their website to find the following information.

The Gardens have reopened, from Monday 18 May.

We are pleased to welcome back visitors to the Gardens, from 10.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, and at weekends, from 10.00am to 6.00pm. However, be warned that numbers will be restricted.

The safety of visitors and staff is our priority, and in order to adhere to Government Guidelines there will be a limit on the numbers of visitors allowed to enter at any given time. The current travel restrictions mean we will not be opening the car park until June 8 at the earliest.

The Cemetery Gate, Glasshouses, Visitor Centre, toilets, Café, Herbarium & Library will also remain closed for the time being.
