GLASNEVIN CEMETERY AUGUST 2016
Glasnevin cemetery is huge by any standards and it is well worth a visit, even if you don’t have a camera. When I visit I try to limit my activities to the older sections. Over the last two years I have noticed that recent graves are now appearing in the older historic areas so I assume that some plots are being recycled. I hop that this trend does not have a negative impact on the historic character of the cemetery.
Some users claim that the Sony SEL 55mm F1.8 FE Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* is, excluding the G Master lenses, the best Sony FE lens. It currently retails at Euro 999.00 [plus a Euro 50 cashback] which is very good considering that the Sony SEL 35mm Distagon T* FE F1.4 ZA [which I used yesterday] retails at Euro 1789.00. The new Sony SEL FE 50mm F1.4 ZA costs Euro 2149.99.
The SEL 55mm is light and compact especially compared to the SEL 35mm and I am beginning to believe that it may the better of the two. My next project is to test the Sony SEL 90mm F2.8 Macro G OSS [retails at about Euro 1200.
