Today I noticed that a number of publications have used my photographs of this Kiosk in Ballsbridge but they failed to provide a link or the name of the copyright owner [Flickr is not the copyright owner].
In March 2015 I published the following:
“Last month a well-known newspaper and coffee kiosk in Ballsbridge was offered for sale as an investment for €200,000 by agents CBRE.
At that price, a purchaser can expect to earn a return of 7.5 per cent. The kiosk at the junction of Lansdowne Road, Pembroke Road and Northumberland Road is let to Silverskin Coffee Roasters at a rent of €15,600. The short-term lease expires in January 2017.”
Today the Irish Time mentioned that “Brothers Colum and Ciarán Butler, who run the Starbucks operation in Ireland, are the new owners of the hexagon-shaped kiosk that has traded for decades at the junction of Lansdowne, Pembroke and Northumberland roads”.
