[21 OCTOBER 2019] I made a mistake in some earlier postings today and wrote "Cross Gunns" rather than "Cross Guns".
A few weeks ago it was announced that the Bernard Shaw, a popular Richmond Street venue, was closing. Many protested claiming that "Old Dublin" was rapidly disappearing ignoring the fact that the Bernard Shaw has only been operational for less than fifteen years.
Earlier this month the owners of the Bernard Shaw revealed that they have opened a new food and drink venue called Racket Space near Cross Guns Bridge in Glasnevin.
