Located in Nicholas Street across from Christchurch Cathedral there is small park which was dedicated to the yearning for Peace in Ireland and it was officially opened in 1988. Unfortunately the park is usually locked and does not appear to be well maintained. According to one local that I spoke to "They closed the gates there for years because of anti-social behaviour"
