INISHOWEN CARNIVAL GROUP “THE MINISTRY OF PEACE AND LOVE” ST. PATRICK’S PARADE 2015

Inishowen celebrate the absurdities and contradictions of modern life by creating a ridiculous remedy for a modern problem. Using an assortment of scrapyard junk and recycled household objects, Inishowen have created a fantasy team of scientists to intercept and transmogrify the baffling array of television, phone, internet and advertising signals which bombard our subconscious every day. Technicians operate bizarre machines to help us focus on the more important things in life - making the world a better place for all. Discard your preconceptions here!! Celebrate Now!! It's a crazy world we live in!

Based near Malin Town in the beautiful peninsula of Inishowen, Co. Donegal, Inishowen Carnival Group, under the artistic direction of Kevin O’ Neill, have performed annually at the Parade, since 1996 and take part regularly in festivals and events across Ireland and beyond.
