THE MASONARY AT 151-156 THOMAS STREE

THE MASONARY AT 151-156 THOMAS STREET

This was IAWS the last time I photographed the area. The office of the wholesale section of the co-operative movement (Irish Agricultural Wholesale Society) was designed by W.M. Mitchell & Sons and constructed between 1907 and 1920. The site upon which the building stands has historic associations, as the location of the arrest of Lord Edward Fitzgerald of the United Irishmen in 1798.

ABOUT THE MASONRY: "Spanning 70,000sq ft over 6 floors, The Masonry is a truly unique property, one of the rare repurposed warehouses in Dublin City. The space comprises of c.40,000 sq ft of Georgian office space to the front, interconnecting to c.30,000 sq ft of brick and beam warehouse. The Masonry offers everything that professionals and companies require under one roof."
