Duck Lane is steeped in history. It is built on site of the Irish Whiskey Distiller and for centuries was a place bustling with business where traders and merchants sold their wares. It is part of the walkway that dates as far back as medieval times. The lane bisects Smithfield Village from the Square, the largest cobbled square in Dublin.
