SINCLAIR SEAMENS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

SINCLAIR SEAMENS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

Open to the public every Wednesday afternoon from 14:00 - 16:30

I was very disappointed by the fact that I could not gain entrance to the interior of this church located in Belfast Docklands. I will try again the next time I visit the area.

Built in 1856 at a cost of £4,500 in memory of Mr John Sinclair.

The interior of this Venetian style docklands church was refurbished on a maritime theme and served as a tribute to the city's seafaring traditions and by all accounts it had a very friendly congregation.

Its stained glass is a major attraction as is the bell from HMS Hood (the First World War ship) and the lifeboat shape collection boxes.
