RED PHONE KIOSK ON NORTH STREET
I have been photographing this corner for years. I documented the Belfast Bikes docking station that once stood here—a piece of optimistic infrastructure that was eventually removed, a casualty of vandalism and the city’s inability to manage its own streetscape. I watched as the bike scheme elsewhere in the city descended into a state of semi-dereliction, with stations acting as graveyards for broken, abandoned bicycles.
