This is an old site and because of this there has been a number technical issues and as a result the site was very slow and not at all suitable for mobile devices. Also for security reasons and problems withe hosting services some links no longer work. Currently the site is being reconstructed and it could be described as a Work In Progress as we try to remove all the issues and broken links.
CLAREMONT STREET IN BELFAST

During previous visits to Belfast i had formed the opinion that the city was much cleaner and better maintained than Dublin. This time I took a more in depth look at the city and I also extend my wanderings to include areas that I had not visited before.
While I do still believe that public buildings within the city centre are better maintained than the equivalent buildings in Dublin I now realise that not far from the city centre the story is very different. For example there are many cases of poor maintenance, urban neglect, urban decay and derelict buildings within Queen's Quarter (also known as the University Quarter.
