STREET ART IN BALLYBEG 2021 [WATERFORD WALLS}
In March Waterford Walls their decision announced their decision to extend beyond the city and into the county.
Director of Waterford Walls Edel Tobin said that she was particularly delighted to feature artwork in Ballybeg, an area close to her heart.
Unfortunately, when I visited I could only located example of street art in the area even though I was in the area for more than an hour.
GOMAD is a colorblind Dutch artist, born and raised in the city of Sittard where he still lives and works. Heavily influenced by the iconic film, 'Beat Street', as well as 'Style Wars', GOMAD got artistically active all the way back to the early 80's in the Southern Dutch graffiti scene. GOMAD's style can best be described as photo-realistic with strong surrealistic influences in combination with abstract graphic areas of color and a preference for eyes, faces, hands and nature. GOMAD has had his artwork displayed all over the world, in places such as, the USA, Belgium, the UK and Australia.
