MEETING HOUSE SQUARE 2012

This series of photographs are dated 01 February 2012 and the Eden Restaurant was operational back then and much to my surprise the immediate area did not look any better back then than it does now in January 2024

A few weeks ago I commented as follows: It is claimed that because the square is enclosed it attracts anti-social activity but I have never noticed that as being a major issue but I only visit during the day. In my opinion the unoccupied building at the Sycamore Street entrance is the major problem as it impacts in a major way on the look and feel of the square. The now shuttered ground floor building that I am referring to was once the Eden Restaurant which I visited a few times. I believe that it closed five or six years ago.
