The photographs in this series date from 18 January 2018 but I have reprocessed and republished them as I have devoted the last week to exploring the area between Milltown and Windy Arbour.
Parish of St Columbanus, St Gall and Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Parish of Saints Columbanus and Gall was constituted in 1974. The present church was built in 1891 as a chapel of ease to its first mother Church of Rathmines. Uniquely, the Church hosts a shrine dedicated to Blessed John XXIII, Pope of the Second Vatican Council.
