It is claimed that because the square is enclosed it attracts anti-social activity but I have never noticed that as being a major issue but I only visit during the day.

In my opinion the unoccupied building at the Sycamore Street is entrance the major problem as it impacts in a major way on the look and feel of the square. The now shuttered ground floor building that i am referring to was once the Eden Restaurant which I visited a few times. I believe that it closed five or six years ago.
