As part of the Bridgefoot Street Park Campaign, Taplin has been instrumental in securing recreational facilities for the area.He was determined that the promised park would be an exceptional facility, including wildflower meadows, and all it needs to become a hub for community activity.

Taplin, Richard (Richie) late of Oliver Bond, Dublin 8 and formerly Beaumont, Dublin 9. Left this life’s journey all too sudden on June 19th 2019 surrounded by love. He will be deeply missed by his heartbroken family and closest of friends, father Luke, sister Fiona, Rosie, Dara and children, Patrick, Ella, Molly and Luke, brother-in-law Eoin, nieces Alexa, Zoelie and nephew Sebastian along with his wide circle of friends and extended family.
