"My design was inspired by the stained glass windows in St. Patricks Church in Ringsend, also including the church in the background and the nearby post box. I incorporated a mother fox and her cub as they have become so prevalent, especially Scar the beloved fox from Ringsend. I wanted to create a fun playful scene with the mother fox on her way to post a letter."

Leixlip is a town in north-east County Kildare, Ireland. Its location on the confluence of the River Liffey and the Rye Water has marked it as a frontier town historically: on the border between the ancient kingdoms of Leinster and Brega, as an outpost of The Pale, and on Kildare's border with County Dublin. Leixlip was also a civil parish in the ancient barony of Salt North. As of 2016, the population of the town was 15,504. It is the fourth largest town in Kildare, and the 29th largest in Ireland.

WAS KNOWN AS BANG BANG
Thomas Dudley, better known as "Bang Bang", was a well-known street character in Dublin in the mid-20th century. He was known for carrying a large church key around with him and pretending to shoot people with it. He would often shout "Bang Bang!" as he did this.

I was effectively on the UCD university campus and it would appear that many of the buildings were devoted to student accommodation. However at this location, UCD offers a unique programme, based in Ireland’s only Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice, for non- lawyers who wish to work in the field of criminology and criminal justice.

AS I WALKED ALONG JAMES LARKIN ROAD
James Larkin Road was renamed in 1949. The road was originally called the Clongriffin Road (I have been unable to fully verify this), but it was renamed after James Larkin in recognition of his contributions to the Irish Labour Movement.

THIS BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND
The blackboard notice on Capel Street said "Positive Vibes Only It Is Only A Bit Of Rain" and to be honest everyone including those who had been soaked were in good humour.

THE BEST THAT I HAVE SEEN IN DUBLIN
This is described as an island bus stop as a cycle track runs between the footpath and the bus stop waiting area and shelter creating, a pedestrian island at the bus stop that is segregated from the footpath. This design resolves the conflicts associated with in-line bus stops, that is, the conflicts between buses and cyclists on the roadway, and the conflicts between cyclists and pedestrians at the bus stop. However, island bus stops create a potential conflict area on the cycle track behind the bus waiting area, where pedestrians need to cross the cycle track when moving to or from the bus stop.
I ARRIVED JUST BEFORE IT BEGAN TO RAIN
AT ST ANNE'S PUBLIC PARK
When I first photographed this more than ten years ago it was in very poor condition having been the subject of vandalism for decades. In recent years, there have been efforts to restore the follies but this has been a slow and expensive process and some are still in poor condition, There is hope that they will eventually be restored to their former glory.

AT THE BROADSTONE TRAM STOP
The Broadstone tram stop is located on the Luas Green Line, which runs through the city center of Dublin. The stop is served by trams in both directions, and it is a popular connection for people traveling to and from the Grangegorman University Campus.
THE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT
IT RAINED EVERY DAY
There are on average 204 "rainy" days a year (over 0.2 millimetres (0.008 in) of rainfall), of which there are 73 days with "heavy rain" (over 5 millimetres (0.2 in))

Limerick is located on the River Shannon with four main river-crossing points near the city centre. To the south of the city is the Golden Vale, an area of rich pastureland. Historically, much of the city's industry was based on this agricultural hinterland.

The Northside of Dublin City is the part of the city that lies north of the River Liffey. It is an informal but commonly used term. While it is sometimes regarded as less wealthy than the city's Southside, the Northside was originally the home of the city's upper classes and the more privileged of the two. Today, some of the wealthiest areas in Ireland lie north of the river, such as Malahide, Howth, Clontarf, and Castleknock.
