SAINT CANICE'S CATHOLIC CHURCH
Before I visited the area I had read that a spectacular marble floor, hidden for many years was uncovered and restored during work on the parish church completed just before Christmas 2015. I had hoped to photograph the interior of the church but on the first day of my visit it was closed when I arrived late in the evening. On the second day I arrived at about mid-day but as there was a huge crowd of people attending a funeral service I decided to come back later but never go around to doing so.
